Acrylic Phone Stand: A Very Practical Product

This is a simple yet useful gadget that uses card slots to interlock three acrylic pieces together.

The basic version consists of just two pieces, which are the blue ones.

The advanced version includes an additional front panel, which is the yellow piece. This helps prevent the phone from sliding forward.

Note that all the cutouts need to be fully cut through. The acrylic sheets used are 3.5mm thick, so make the slots 4mm to ensure they aren’t too tight and the pieces fit together easily.

If you design a front panel, you need to carefully calculate the height of the slots on the front panel and the back stand. This is crucial for creating a stable stand. If you imagine the desktop as a line, the front panel and the stand will form two similar triangles. You’ll need to do the calculations yourself… (Some long-forgotten high school math knowledge is suddenly coming back to haunt me…)

It seems there aren’t any other difficult aspects… Feel free to give it a try!
